The evolution of our brain has come with a high cost because it now roughly consumes twenty five percent of the energy produced in the body. It has been found that is constantly making combinations of a group of length waves that ultimately indicate the state of the mind: deep thinking, half asleep, deep dreaming, etc. Such waves must thrive in a competitive space already full of information from all kind of signals sent to be captured back by a myriad of artifacts (i.e. cell phones and TV receivers).
Sometimes I compare this space to a huge board –must be my profession as a teacher, that we all suppose to use responsibly to solve our whole human kind problems. Many might go by in life without ever giving it a try when having the opportunity while few fight real hard to have a chance to write something important because is always full of old data that must be compressed and/or erased to accommodate new information. After all, does it matter if anyone is able to come up with answers when those in power are engaged in trying to maintain the status quo? My “own” theory of how our turns to the board are programed is as follows.
When we learn new things we enlarge the radius of an allocated vital space that let us process a certain amount of basic data. Since we have to educate younger generations and continue finding paths for our evolutionary road, information has to be used physically or rationally throughout life in order to recreate space. Everybody must absorb space full of data to clean it, discard what is not needed and, store what can be used in a never ending recycling process. Although younger generations have not developed a storage capacity they must be included in the process reserving them a turn –at least during the first twenty two years of life when the brain bones have not yet solidified, if we allow everyone to participate, the ability to recreate “space” will not rely only on a few huge “servers” enduring major amounts of “stress” during particular periods of time.
The traveling power of the data we send out there varies according to the seasons of the year and the place we reside in the planet because the strength of our own brain waves is constantly counteracted by the sun’s radiation. Imagine a huge balloon full of inflated bubbles that change sizes aiming to balance the inner and outside pressure. The bubbles remain connected through physical, emotional and intellectual interactions in life that will supply and retrieve chunks of information following natural patterns.
Data travels during the year, taking turns in relieving the pressure from those inhabiting the northern and the southern hemisphere, because the planet changes the inclination of the axis to produce seasons and the elliptic movement is not even –we are closer to the sun and tilted away in the winter, but those living on the equator must still learn to counteract sun radiation through more or less eleven year cycles of solar spot variations that increase the need to expand, accommodate and grow.
Finally, just like the annual movement should occur naturally throughout the planet so the exchange among revered figures and idols to give everybody the opportunity to score -majority of trading taking place between genders because that is the most convenient possible way.
The amount of “space” recovered each time is based on deeds and doing what is right according to what life brings us however, because it takes years to complete whole cycles the results cannot be achieved instantly since it needs to dig tunnels only possible through age.
It is faster and easier to obtain less saturated “space” from the innocent and the young through blind faith and lies. Being inexperienced, naive and impressionable makes you a prey of those that have to keep people depending on them to maintain certain quota. It is like oxygenating a room with plants that have no critical thinking but must be watered and cared to a certain degree. This type of mechanism is unsustainable because the energy of those serving eventually decays and will need to be served but only one is able to replace the modeled behavior forming a new pyramid again.
We must coexist and grow through trust and responsibility. My inspiration arrives and deserts me at certain points in the year which leads me to conclude that the change in pressure and direction must occur around the equinoxes of Spring and Fall. Maybe the Mayans already tried to tell us of the subtle pattern when they built the pyramid that allows us to see a shadowed serpent traveling through its steps on these dates.
In a way, one writes its own destiny but if we are not willing to take responsibility others will do it for you… perhaps someone already have done precisely that!
