
MISCELLANEOUS
Logan Students: Just a reminder that you are not to be on other school campuses during their school hours. This causes a disruption for the other schools and may lead to a consequence.
College presentations are still taking place here at Logan, and USF is coming November 9th. Interested students should sign up in the Career Center.
Logan Students: Halloween is Monday, October 31, and we all like to dress up for fun. However, keep in mind that ALL costumes must be appropriate and follow Logan dress codes. There should be no masks, no complete face paintings, and no imitation weapons of any kind. These will be confiscated.
Tonight is MVROP open house at 6 p.m. at their Fremont site next to Kennedy High School. This is a great time to get out, walk through the ROP classrooms, and meet the teachers and current students. In general, find out what ROP is really about.
ASVAB permission slips are now available in the Career Center. Remember to get your teachers and parents to sign the permission slip or you WILL NOT be testing.
Get paid for a WORLD CLASS education! If your GPA is above a 3.5, or better yet closer to a 4.0, you may want to consider one of the military academies…..US Air Force, US Naval, US Coast Guard, or West Point. To find out more about if you have what it takes to be accepted into an Academy, sign up in the Career Center. The Naval, Air Force and Coast Guard Academies will all be coming to Logan during the month of November. These presentations are open to serious students of all grade levels.
If you signed up for wrestling, you must have all your paperwork turned in to Coach Bagaoisan by Nov. 4 in order to practice. The first day of practice is Monday, November 7th. If you are in a fall sport and have not signed up, see Coach Bagaoisan in the P.E. Office, or in the weight room after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
ACTIVITIES
M.E.Ch.A is having their annual Suavecito Dance on Saturday, Oct. 29. Tickets are $8 in advance, and $10 at the door. For any questions, go to Room 407.
The Tropics Senior Mobile Home Park is looking for volunteers interested in an ongoing monthly yard work day. For more information, read the posting on Logan’s website under College & Career info, or pick up a flyer in the Career Center.

There will be a Leo Club meeting after school today in Room 72. Please make sure you attend to turn in your membership forms!
There will be a mandatory Key Club Meeting today after school for students who are going to Six Flags this Saturday.
SENIORS
If you missed the October 11th UC Personal Statement Workshop, there will be one more offered on November 2nd after school. This will be the final Personal Statement Workshop we will be offering this school year. So if you need help, or still have questions after attending the last workshop, be sure to attend the November 2nd meeting. Sign-ups are in the Career Center.
