PACT tickets are on sale until Nov. 7th. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased at the ticket window in the main office.

Kitayama needs 6 volunteers for Literacy Night. Check Logan’s website or pick up a flyer in the Career Center. Looking for a place to do school work? Need help? There’s a place from 9-12 this Saturday, October 15th, in Room 77. Please enter by the carpeted hallway near the library.

If you are doing a fundraiser for ASB, they are due this Friday, October 14th to Ms. Walton in Room 67. If you sold items or not, please turn the form in. Still need a form? Get one today in the Leadership room.

Fear the Colt shirts and class shirts will be here on Monday. We will be handing them out during lunch.

Club advisors and members: Charters and Constitutions due date will be extended through Friday 10/14.

ACTIVITIES

Girls Soccer open field is on Wednesdays on the Big Green from 2 to 3 p.m.

Mandatory Girls Soccer meeting Thursday, October 13th in Room 475 (portables) 3:40 p.m., for all girls interested in playing soccer for the 2011-2012 season.

Students: “It’s GAME TIME, BABY!” James Logan HS Spirit Week 2011-2012 begins next week. Your class officers need your help building their floats and planning out class events for the week. Stop by Room 67 for float building calendars and other important information. Ready…Set…GO COLTS!

Preliminary Homecoming Court voting begins today in the 300s courtyard, and will end Friday at the end of lunch. Come vote for your King, Queen, Prince or Princess now. You must have your student ID when voting. Don’t miss out.

Did you hear the news about the Homecoming Dance? Students with ASB get in free to the Homecoming Dance next Saturday. If you don’t have your ASB sticker yet, get it now. Stickers will be on sale at the attendance windows every day. The cost of the dance without ASB is $10. Guest passes are available for the dance at the windows and in Room 67. They are due by Thursday, October 20th. Tickets for the dance go on sale Monday at lunch.

CLUBS

Leo Club will be having a mandatory meeting today after school in Room 72. If you want to be a member, you must attend this meeting!

French Club will be meeting today after school in Room 452! We will be discussing all of the year’s events. New members are welcome.

The Helping Hands Club meets today after school in Room 526.

SENIORS

Guy Emanuele Elementary School is hosting a Halloween Party on Friday, October 28th. They are hoping to get some volunteer help from the Class of 2012! For more information, check Logan’s website, or pick up a flyer in the Career Center.

If you missed the October 11th UC Personal Statement Workshop, there will be one more offered on November 2nd after school. This will be the final Personal Statement Workshop we will be offering this school year. So if you need help, or still have questions after attending the last workshop, be sure to attend the November 2nd meeting. Sign-ups are in the Career Center.
