The deadline to turn in applications to your counselor for summer school is Friday, April
Hallways at Lunch: Students, the 60s, 70s & 80s hallways are closed for use during
lunch time. Because of disruption to classroom instruction and learning, students are
no longer permitted in the hallways during lunch time. Please make sure you exit the
hallways as quickly as possible and do not use them during lunch.
Due to STAR testing, the after school math and science tutoring program on Tuesday and
Thursday will meet in different locations. Math tutoring will take place in Room 453,
and science tutoring will take place in Room 423. Mark your calendars. This is only for
the week of STAR testing. See you there!
Yearbooks are on sale for $90. Come by Room 44 after school to buy yours. Hurry,
because supplies are limited.
Need Driver’ s Ed? There will be two sessions this summer at the Adult School. The
first session is June 20, 21 & 22. The second session is August 8, 9 & 10. Cost is $125.
Applications are now available in your house office, or see Mr. Caruso in Room 77 for an
application or details.
If you need a dress for the Junior Prom or Senior Ball, please talk to Ms. Esquivez in
Room 407. The Princess Project has a wide selection, so come and find one for you.
M.E.Ch.A is having the annual Cinco de Mayo Car Show during lunch on May 6.

Do you want to ZUMBA? The Ballet Folklorico and Cheerleaders are having a Fiesta
Zumba fundraiser on Friday, May 6th from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Pavilion. It is $10 at the
door. Come and exercise to Latin music!!!
Come to the Youth Alive Christian Club tomorrow after school in Room 418.
Seniors, your 20 hour community service GRADUATION REQUIREMENT is due this
coming Friday. Be sure to turn your community service forms in to Mrs. Hart in the
Career Center before the deadline! Also, as a side note, these forms are to be turned in on
YOUR time, NOT your teacher’s time.
Seniors, please pay close attention to this message. Starting Monday, April 25th, a list
of all Seniors will be posted in the Old Attendance Office windows. Please check your
name for spelling errors – Your name as listed will be the exact name printed on your
diploma, unless you tell us otherwise. If there is a misspelling or other error, we will
have a form for you to fill out for corrections. The DEADLINE for corrections is Friday,
