MISCELLANEOUS

Homework – Saturday School is open this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Take advantage of a place to get some tutoring, computers, a place to work with peers, and a welcome atmosphere, too. Enter by carpeted hallway near the Media Center to Rooms 77 and 78.

Need Driver’s Ed? Your place is at the Adult School. Cost is $125. Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday; April 4, 5 & 6, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications are now available in your house office or see Mr. Caruso in Room 77 for both an application and details.

Chinese, Vietnamese, Punjabi, Farsi/Pashto and Spanish speaking students needed to volunteer as translators for Academic Achievement night on Feb. 17th. To sign up see Mrs. Hart in the Career Center.

Mission Valley ROP is offering a course in Game Design/Interactive Media Arts for the 2011-2012 school year. If you are interested in applying for this course with limited seats, attend an information session at the Mission Valley ROP on February 9th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM or see Mrs. Hart in the Career Center for the application. Applications are due by February 16th by 4:00 PM.

Any library books you checked out last semester are overdue. Please return them.

Yearbooks are still on sale for $90. Hurry though, because 75% of them have already sold. Come by Room 44 for more info.

ACTIVITY

Spread the love by buying your Valentine a flower. Come out to Colt Court during lunch. Only sold until Thursday!

Yo Artists! It’s Doodle 4 Google Time! This year’s National finalist will win a $15,000 scholarship, a laptop, a digital tablet and more. See Ms. Collins in Room 82 for details and forms. Deadline for entries is March 7th.

SENIORS

Seniors: The New Haven Foundation scholarship list and applications are in your Logan e-mail. No hard copies this year to pick up. So if you want some of this money read your Logan e-mail and apply by February 24th.

CLUBS

Puente Students: The next Puente Club meeting is Thursday, February 10th, after school in the Little Theater. Don’t miss it!

The Muslim Student Association Club meets every Thursday after school in Room 453.

Interested in helping your school and the community? Join the Helping Hands Club after school on Wednesdays in Room 442. Bring a friend!

The Filipino Youth Association is meeting this today after school in Room 414 to plan Halo-Halo Night. Please come.
