Mike Posners music has been filling up my iPod. Mike Posner is an uprising artist who is well-known for his hot single, "Cooler Than Me," which was an online hit over the summer of 2009 and has just recently been released on the radio.

Posner is an American singer, songwriter, producer as well as a Duke University student. With the help of Don Cannon and DJ Benzi, Mike Posner released his first mixtape, ";A Matter of Time,"� in the beginning of 2009.




"One Foot Out The Door" is Posner's second mixtape which was released in October of 2009 and features the likes of Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Bun B, Saigon, GLC, 3OH!3, Freddie Gibbs, and XV. He is currently touring and working on his debut album which will be released this summer.

"Cooler Than Me," the first single from the album, is currently climbing up the charts. Posner's music sounds a lot like Kid Cudi, Shwayze and Kanye West's modern electric/pop-like form of hip-hop. Indeed, Mike Posner is one of those artists whose music is a great mixture of catchy melodies, clever lyrics and plenty of originality, slick style and attitude. It is the kind of stuff that fans go crazy for.
