Drop-In homework/tutoring in Room 77. Daily before school 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Tuesday-Friday 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Need Drivers Education? Your place is the Adult School. Cost is $125. Two summer offerings, each Mon. – Wed., 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., June 21, 22, 23 or August 2, 3, 4. Applications are now available in your house office or see Mr. Caruso in Room 77 for both an application and details.
Congratulations to Monte Corley who ran the fastest time in the U.S. for the 300 Hurdles in Sacramento Saturday, Teresa Runels, Atiya Harvey, Mason Hartwell, Victoria Johnson & Thandi Stewart also had great performances.
Students, if you requested Cyber High on your summer school application, please see your counselor to make sure you have completed a separate Cyber High application in addition to the regular summer school application. ACTIVITIES
The Ballet Folklorico will be celebrating its 20th anniversary on May 15th at the new Center for the Performing Arts. Live Mariachi music & special guest professional dance troupe. For tickets see Mr. Huertas in the counseling office.
Logan Beautification Day is Saturday, May 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meet in back of the 300s by Maintenance. Come help with tree planting and campus clean-up and earn Community Service.
All seniors will be recognized at Senior Night for the Track & Field Team after the Irvington Meet.
ASB Elections are this week. Come meet your candidates in Colt Court today during lunch. See what they have to offer to the leadership of our student body. Voting begins at lunch on Wednesday at www.eduballot.votenet.com/JLHS for Freshman through Juniors only. Results will be announced on Friday afternoon.
SENIORS
Seniors, if you missed cap and gown pick-up, have issues with your order, or still need to purchase, Achieves will be in Colt Court during lunch on Thursday.
Seniors going on the grad trip: Please turn in your permission slips (gold color paper) ASAP to the tray in Room 67. Those who still need to finish their payments or are on the wait list must pay in full by Friday. Come see Mr. Rojas during lunch. All checks payable to James Logan High School.

The Youth Alive Christian Club meets tomorrow after school in Room 418. Bring a friend.
Did you know that the first Thursday in May is National Day of Prayer? Meet at the flagpole at 8:00 a.m. Thursday as we unite in prayer for our school and country. Sponsored by the Youth Alive Club.
