“First comes marriage. Then comes divorce. And then...Divorced...with benefits.”

Meryl Streep plays a divorced mother of three grown kid and owns a bakery/restaurant in the film It's Complicated.

She has been divorced for ten years and meets her ex–husband for dinner at their son’s graduation and from there things go a little crazy. Her ex–husband Jake, played by Alec Baldwin is already married to a much younger woman, Agnes, who is played by Lake Bell. Now Meryl Streep, who plays the character of Jane, is technically the other women or mistress since she is having an affair with her ex.

At the same time, Jane has her own romancing going on with the man who remodeled her kitchen, Adam, played by Steve Martin. Adam actually really does fall in love with Jane, but as the movie goes on he realizes that he’s part of a mess. He deals with his own divorce issues and now is stuck as the other guy.

For Jane it’s a complicated and sticky situation. On one side she has her ex-husband and on the other side she has Adam. Now to find out what happens in the end you should go watch the movie?

I recommend watching this movie because it’s a comedy that will keep you laughing. It’s more of a romantic comedy. This is a great movie to take someone on a date. You will laugh your socks off. The movie does start off a bit slowly, but it gets way better as the movie and story goes on. Meryl Streep does an excellent job acting in the movie and I love the way she really captures her character. At first I was skeptical in watching this film because I thought it would be boring, but I ended up loving the movie a lot. All the actors did a great job in this movie.

If you’re looking for a good laugh, you should go watch this movie. It’s humorous in many different ways.
