Anyone interested in playing boys soccer should see Coach Sills in Room 73 and attend open field after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

There will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday, October 1, for those who want to join the Wrestling Team. It will be held in the Mat Room (next to the Weight Room) right after school. If you want to join you must come to the meeting.
CLUBS
Do you want to go on the Close-Up Washington, D.C., trip this year? The registration deadline is this Saturday. See Ms. Lombardi in Room 71 ASAP to begin your enrollment.
Punjabi Club will be hosting a pot-luck on Tuesday, 9/29/09 while discussing our first event of the year. Come join us in Room 442! Thank you.
MISCELLANEOUS
We are back! Drop-in homework room/tutoring starts this week in Room 77. A place to do your homework; work together, access to computers, and tutoring. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Get ahead of your grades. Monday through Friday, 7:30-8:30 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday 3:30-4:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:30-12:30.
Need Driver’s Education? Your place is at the Adult School. Cost is $125. December 28, 29, 30 – Monday through Wednesday – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications are now available in your house office or see Mr. Caruso in Room 77 for both an application and details. Hurry, classes fill up fast!
PSAT and PACT tickets are on sale in the Career Center during lunch ONLY. The cost is $25.00 for each test.
Senior Parent Night is Thursday, October 1, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theater. Learn about graduation requirements, college admissions, community colleges, financial aid, and senior activities.
Interested in a military academy? Then how about the Air Force Academy? The Air Force Academy will be holding a presentation for interested students in the Career Center on Oct. 1st. To participate, sign up in the Career Center.
Seniors: UC Berkeley’s EAOP program will be holding a Personal Statement Workshop for anyone interested in getting help and pointers on how to make their Personal Statement better. To be part of this workshop you MUST sign up in the Career Center. The workshop will be held October 7th after school.
Attention all Freshmen who would like to help out with the Homecoming float. There will be a meeting Tuesday after school in Room 67.

Students: Staff only parking in yellow-striped stalls in any Logan parking lot. Any cars found in these spaces that are not displaying a staff parking permit, will be cited.
Logan Staff: Lifetouch will be on campus on Friday, October 5. If you have not already done so, please drop by the P.E. classroom in the back of the Old Gym to have your photo taken for the yearbook. Hours are 8:45 to 1:30. Student drop-in is scheduled for lunch periods. Logan lanyards will be on sale for $2.
Lifetouch will be on campus on Friday, October 2. This is the last time they will be here for this school year. All students who have lost IDs or have never gotten one are required to have their photos taken. Students should drop by the P.E. classroom in the back of the Old Gym at lunch time. We will be selling Logan lanyards for $2 for those who are interested in purchasing one of them.
Starting Monday, October 5 students who arrive at school without an ID will be charged for replacements and the following consequences will apply:
1st Offense: Temp ID/ID replaced
2nd Offense: Temp ID/ID replaced, $5 charge
3rd Offense: Temp ID/ID replaced, $10 charge and parent contacted
4th Offense: Temp ID/ID replaced, $15 charge and referral to Administrator plus Detention or Saturday School
Further offenses will be considered defiance and may lead to suspension. Replacement cost for a lost ID will increase by $5 for each subsequent replacement needed.
