ACTIVITIES
Anyone interested in playing boys soccer should see Coach Sills in Room 73 and attend open field after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Our Welcome Back Dance is this Friday from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Pavilion. Presale tickets are being sold in Colt Court during lunch for $10, or $8 w/ASB sticker. Buy your tickets now so you don’t have to wait to buy one at the door. You must have your ID card to purchase tickets and get into the dance.

Join Cross Country! Learn about your mind, body and soul!

Do you want to join the Wrestling Team? Then come to the mandatory meeting next Thursday after school in the Mat Room next to the Weight Room. Important paperwork will be given out.






CLUBS
Reminder: There is a Parents’ Informational Meeting tonight for Close-Up. Please encourage your parents to come and learn about the program and this year’s trip to Washington, D.C. Room 71 at 6:00 p.m.

Poets, spoken word artists and aspiring performers, come join the SLAM POETRY Club. Meetings on Thursdays after school in Room 124.

G.S.A., the Gay-Straight Alliance, meets in Room 52 after school on Friday. Everyone is welcome.

MISCELLANEOUS
We are back! Drop-in homework room/tutoring starts this week in Room 77. A place to do your homework; work together, access to computers, and tutoring. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Get ahead of your grades. Monday through Friday, 7:30-8:30 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday 3:30-4:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:30-12:30.

Need Driver’s Education? Your place is at the Adult School. Cost is $125. December 28, 29, 30 – Monday through Wednesday – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications are now available in your house office or see Mr. Caruso in Room 77 for both an application and details. Hurry, classes fill up fast!

PSAT and PACT tickets are on sale in the Career Center during lunch ONLY. The cost is $25.00 for each test.

Senior Parent Night is Thursday, October 1, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theater. Learn about graduation requirements, college admissions, community colleges, financial aid, and senior activities.
