Junior Prom and Senior Ball ticket sales begin this week in the 300s courtyard near Room 67. If you are planning on bringing a non-Logan guest, please make sure you complete a guest pass before purchasing your guest’s ticket. Guest passes are available in the Grade 11/12 office. Junior Prom tickets are $40 per person and Senior Ball tickets are $100 if you purchase this week until Thursday. After Spring Break prices will go up. You need your current School I.D. card to purchase your own ticket, as well as your date’s I.D. for theirs.
Attn. Students: Cheerleading tryouts will be held in May. Anyone who wishes to try out must have and maintain a 2.0 GPA with no Fs.
On April 26th, Hayward Adult School will be hosting the 16th Annual Ukulele Festival for which they need volunteers. The festival itself is a 1 day event, but they need volunteers for 2 days, Saturday & Sunday. If you would like to help out come to the Career Center to pick up a blue flyer. Or if you just want to go and have a fun day you too should pick up the blue flyer.
Artists: Submit original, flat work for Congressional Art competition and if you win, you get your work shown in a local gallery, then possibly Washington, D.C.
Need Community Service? Hope Connections is making baskets for Sunrise Shelters this Wednesday in Room 521. Come and help out.
Students: Summer school applications are now available in the counseling office. We have a wide variety of classes available which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so get your application in early to guarantee your spot. Classes run from 7:40 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., and start Tuesday, June 16th, running through Thursday, July 23rd. For more information, see Mr. Camacho, Ms. Kim or Mr. Smith.

Up to 10 ˝ hours of community service available for students interested in helping out the Fremont Freewheelers 38th Annual Bicycle Race taking place on Sunday, April 19th. For more information pick up a white flyer in the Career Center.
Logan has a great place to study, work on projects, use a computer, and get tutoring from your fellow students in most subjects. Logan’s Open Room 77. Monday – Friday, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., Tuesday – Thursday, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays 8:30 – 12:30. Make the right choice and your grades will improve too!

JUNIORS
Come join the fun, and sign up in the Career Center to be part of the Spring College Fair field trip on April 24th at CSU East Bay. This is a chance to check out over 100 colleges and universities from up and down our state as well as public and private institutions from across the country. The field trip and event are FREE, but space is limited to the first 120 juniors to turn in their permission slips.
SENIORS
The Exclusion List and Community Service list for students with less than 20 hours are posted in the House 12 office, on the Principal’s office, and on Rm. 80 in Colt Court.
Seniors are excluded from participating in Senior Activities (Senior Ball, Senior Picnic, etc.) for debt, suspensions, and poor attendance (10 tardies and/or 8 period cuts per quarter). Seniors must turn in their Senior Contract and complete 20 hours of community service by April 30 to participate in any Senior Activity.
Seniors: Remember April 30th is the deadline to have completed and turned in your 20 hours of community service needed to graduate!
