American Dream X

Most expect a white picket fince
With 2.5 kids
With a puppy named tick
Living the step ford expense

What about the American dream X

For the ones who can’t reproduce to have kids
Or the ones allergic to dogs
Who live in urban suspense

Most expect a loving member of the opposite sex
Who love honor and cherish
Most a high paying job with educated children
Living in mansions

What about the American dream X

For the ones who fortunately yet unfortunately fall in love with the same sex
Or the ones who unfortunately fall in love with wife beating alcoholics
Or the ones suffering to get a job that’s the best
And the children diagnosed with mental illness
Who have trouble getting education

Most hope to get old and have their children to care for them

What about the American dream X

For the children striving to get by hustling with limited time on earth as it is

The All American dream
The dream for the suppressors
Who define the All American dream
Purely the right thing
And if one doesn’t dream the dream suppressors believe
It becomes an All American dream X
A poison infestation to society
A big warning sign that says no entry
Or a triple X rated movie
But the suppressors are ignorant to believe is
That the All American dream X
Is mostly the only thing to be
And the All American dream is an imagination still disintegrating

Now look at society and think realistically
And tell me your All American dream

For more than 200 years, presidents and government officials have talked about the idea of the American Dream, which was made up by the forefathers of the US who were rich white male and severely neglected the majority people of color, the middle class, homosexuals, and those with learning disabilities.

It is almost 2009 and the American dream still shrieks to exist. Although Obama gives recognition to those of lower class, the minorities, and puts a strong emphasis on change, he and McCain continue to promote the fantasy of the “American Dream”, and in a society were change and growth are inevitable, they both need to realize that the American dream is no longer the expectation of Americans This does not mean that there is no hope or motivation for our society, but there is a new way of life and a different longing for achievements and goals that do not fit the characteristics of the average stereotypical American Dream.
