The Colts, down 2-0 in the semifinals of the Mission Valley Athletic League playoffs against Moreau Catholic, rallied from a 2 to 0 deficit to beat the Moreau Mariners by a score of 3-2.

Eventually they were able to come back and reel off three straight wins to claim a thrilling 18-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 20-18 victory over the No.3 Mariners.

"I don't think it hit them that they were in the playoffs, and it was win or go home," said Logan assistant coach Bryant Tran

Moreau and Logan split matches in the regular season. Logan ended Moreau’s season with this win.

Logan will now face top seeded Washington in the championship match at 7 p.m Thursday at Washington. The Huskies are 10-0 in MVAL action with a pair of wins over the Colts.

“Were going to have to play hard and not make mistakes in order to beat them,” said senior Jonathan Laureta-Revelo.
