The Class of 2006’s final finals finally end Thursday, when seniors who missed the regularly scheduled finals that started off with examinations scheduled in Language Arts, Science, and the Visual and Performing Arts last Thursday complete make-up tests.

Senior Leah Salto says, “ The start of finals last week, was kind of stressful. Everything was just so packed together. It was like I had my last chance to do good”.

Finals end right before Grad Night, which many will participate in from June 8- 10th.

Senior Aman Dhami says “ It’s stressful because you’re just so close to the end. Senioritis starts to kick in, but then I know I can not just throw away all my years of hard work on it. So I am just trying really hard these last few days, so I don’t have to worry later”.

Some teachers also find themselves burdened with senior finals. Teacher James Hansen said, “ In today’s world you have to make multiple finals, for different students needs. I wish there was some kind of period set aside for the seniors, theirs to many chances for absences”.

Grades for Seniors are due from teachers at 3.00 p.m. on Thursday.. Senior Make-up finals are also that day; students going to grad night will depart this day, too.

Senior Gustavo Roque said, “ I knew I was going to be going to grad night so I made sure I came each day n completed my finals the way I should, I do not want to have any trouble before the real senior activities begin”. Students will be departing at 11am and returning on early Sunday morning.

The senior check-out process begins Monday and will be completed on Tuesday. The Senior Breakfast and Graduation meeting will be held on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 11a.m. Graduation practice will be held Friday fro 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Graduation ceremonies start at 9:30 a.m. on June 17.
