"First of all, our guys wrestled hard," Logan coach Eli Bagaoisan said. "That, and we matched up well with them."
"I'm just gonna have to wrestle hard to win and trust my teamates to win their matches" said senior Jonathan Laureta-Revelo
Logan's Lawrence Blanco turned in one of the night's most outstanding performances. His opponent at 114 pounds, Ricky McFerrin, came in ranked No.2 in the section, while Blanco came in at No.7.
It didn't take long for Blanco to build a big lead, which forced Mission's McFerrin to go for a pin the whole third period.
"I just tried to take him down, that's it,"said junior Larwence Blanco.
This win gives Logan an overall record of 4 wins and zero losses. This win also keeps Logan tied with the Newark Memorial Cougars.
The Colts will be facing the undefeated cougars two weeks from yesterday.
Both teams are traveling to the prestigious Foothill Invitational this weekend in Sacramento.
