“ I’m really excited with my win,” says Malcolm. “But I am also proud of being a part of such a strong team, they’ve been my inspiration.”
Logan’s varsity wrestling took 4th place in NCS.Senior Adrian Gomez was seeded in 4th place for his weight of 130 lbs. He managed to place 3rd in the tournament which qualifies him for state.
“ It’s my first time going to NCS, it was my last match and I knew that I had to take it up a notch” says Gomez.
Lawrence Blanco, a sophmore, will be joining Gomez and Malcom at State Championship this coming weekend.
Although only five out of fourteen varsity players made line-up, eight players were able to make it to the second day of the tournament.
